It was just all. . . unfortunate. You confided in me, but it wasn't a confidence I was able to keep, and from there, there was no way for us to not be at odds.

I know, but. . . once we were acting against one another, I expected you to do what you had to to save yourself. I didn't consider it a terrible thing to do.

I wish you hadn't, too, for primarily practical reasons, but I don't know if it would have changed anything and I didn't mind that much.

I wish I had dealt with things differently. I'm not sure how, but I didn't like how it all turned out.

[ there's a long moment of silence as misa lets harrow's words wash over her. she'd been convinced the other girl resented her for everything she'd done. every time she'd watched her from the other side, that uncomfortable little feeling nagged at her, that she'd died with people actively resenting her. and even though she would never take anything she did back, it still bothered her...
